LEE Industries

LEE Industries was born in 1969 when Bill and Dottie Coley set out to manufacture quality, American-made furniture that they would want in their own home.  Three years later Chic Robinson joined the team as executive vice president in charge of the financial, production and administrative functions and helped propel them to a new level.  Today LEE is still a family-owned business with the mission of creating innovatively styled, high-quality home furnishings while being as earth-friendly as possible.

Construction - LEE craftsman hand-build every piece of furniture in Newton, North Carolina.

Frames
All frames are certified, select kiln-dried hardwoods.  The joints are double-doweled and every corner is blocked, screwed and glued.  This means that your furniture will not creak, sag, split or warp, no matter what.

Springs
Only steel coil springs are used in the eight-way hand-tied seat decks. This keeps your springs from shifting and creating uncomfortable lumps and bumps.  Each spring is supported by polypropylene and steel strapping to provide you with the most long lasting and comfortable seating known to man.

Cushions
LEE is all about options.  That's why they offer eight different types of cushions ranging from ultra-soft goose-down to the standard Natural LEE soy-based and the extra-firm HR cushion.  Finding the right comfort level is easy.

Fabrics and Leather
LEE’s fabric selection includes over a 1000 of the latest organic and domestically sourced fabrics all chosen for their style, color, and durability.  LEE also offers over 80 top-grain fully aniline dyed leathers.  These fabrics and leathers are quite possibly some of the best you will see anywhere.
